Aunt Viola

This is my aunt Viola, Me and Sam a couple weeks ago. Her and my uncle Alan came over for supper which was long over due on my part. My aunt Viola has been an amazing godly influence and source of consistancy in my life. They lived in Edmonton in the same house for as long as I can remember. I logged much time napping there at the end of my pregnancy between doctors appts and picking up Ade from work. She is my fathers oldest sister. I love going over to her house and having a really good cup of tea and catching up. I am always so encouraged by her consistancy. Thanks Aunt Viola for being such a good Aunt to me! Sam got to hang out with her the other night when Ade and I went to a Darrel Evans concert.

It's funny how I am so used to him always being with me now, so when we leave him with someone it seems odd that he isn't with us. I feel the same way when we go somewhere and leave Jasper in the kennel. I love when the four of us are all together - it feels so right and complete.
Lots has been happening around here. I have been busy scrapbooking Ade and my trip to Europe last may. Its sure nice to look back on the pictures and see what a trip of a lifetime that was. What a blessing it was to be able to visit with the Brunner family. I always tell Ade that I think that we should retire in northern Italy. It is one of my favorate places to visit.
I have been experimenting with some meals lately. Some of you know that I try to plan my meals weekly, so I get to think up new creative meals, and try new recipies. The other day it was pasta day, and I had these big pasta shells in my pantry - So I stuffed them with spinich, sausage, cottage cheese and baked them in a bed of spicy tomato sauce, topped with parmesan and drizzled with a light cream sauce. They were so yummy - and Ade was quite impressed too!
Sam is doing great. We just love our days together. He is such a good sleeper! Goes down around 8-8:30 and sleeps until 6 AM - comes to our bed to eat his breakfast and then right back into his crip until 9 am. What a dream. He is so pleasant - lies in bed and coo's in the morning. Ade says he is busy singing to God. I think he's right. Out of the mouths of babes....
