Too Long...

I know I know I know... But here goes....
Spring has finally arrived. 7:30 - my son is still stirring in the next room, Ade left for work at 6:15 dashing out the door as he see's his buddy Mark pull up to the curb... me awoken by tea in bed 10 minutes before he leaves... Life is GOOD!
I love that cold fresh first smell of spring. I told Ade the other day that spring is my favorite season which he rubuttled - "You say the same thing about the beginning of each season!" I do truly like spring the best though. It just gets me so excited to think about shopping at greenhouses, planting, planning (go figure-), watching things grow and being outside lots. This is going to be an especially exciting one because of Sam in our lives. He will be jettin all around on all fours, so keen to discover learn and play. He just started with solids a couple of weeks ago, and loves them so much. He finally figured out how to work his tongue. Too cute. He gets fruit in the morning for breakfast, vegies for lunch and supper. His all time favorite is sweet potatoes for sure!
Jan and Bob were up a couple of weeks ago - another breath of fresh air them being here! They are so thoughtful and giving to us- its so amazing. Its like a break from the pressures of the world when they are here. Bob and Ade spent time working on the basement when Ade was home from work, and Bob was down there working even when Ade was at work! And Jan - has such a wonderful spirit and wants such good things for her family. I came home from getting Sam some baby food, and the bathrooms were cleaned and floor vacumed. We were able to go to a ladies retreat over the weekend, and got to make some stainglass, stay over night and eat good good food! It was a great weekend, in a beautiful house in the country. They bought Sam a beautiful high chair too! It was great to have them, and look forward to seeing them again soon.
Ade and I are continuing to tackle our basement, while Sam helps in his exersaucer alongside. Its really cool to work on a project as a family. So goes our busy life...
